PERSPECTIVE

We prefer to shoot from helicopters, because airplanes are restricted to 1000’ above the ground. Helicopters not only allow for low, close angles and perfect positioning, but also for more dynamic views.

To feature a building showing more front elevation than rooftop, for presenting a dynamic perspective with enlarged foreground, or to show the building and the horizon, you need a helicopter. Airplane shoots can fake a low, close-up frame by using zoom lenses. But the space between the camera and the ground will be condensed, therefore more haze/smog will be visible. And the perspective will be less dynamic.

For assignments that can be done above 1000’ we fly in airplanes. They are more cost effective, especially for longer enroute times.
